General purpose and protective overlay papers were designed to provide a protective layer to resist abrasion, staining, scratching, and scuffing. Overlays can be produced with various levels of abrasive material to provide the wear resistance required for our customers’ specific applications. Printable overlay was designed to optimize printing while maintaining exception clarity, thus enabling use in a variety of printing processes.
